Scott Murdock was born in Brooklyn but raised in Westchester from a young age. As a child, Scott was active in sports and The Boy Scouts of America where he and his father had many great memories. Scott attended Tarrytown Public Schools and graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1985. One of the highlights of his teenage years was achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.

Scott, always being a self starter and independent, enrolled in Westchester Community College while working full time. After completing his Associate’s Degree, he continued his education at Pace University and completed a Bachelor Degree in Business.

Prior to joining the firm, Scott had a successful career in the Re-Insurance Industry for over 8 years. Scott worked for various firms such as Christiania Insurance Company, TIG-Re, and Zurich-Re.

In 1998, joined Richard DioGuardi's practice. In early in 2009, Richard and Scott announced they would continue to provide their clients with excellent service and formed a partnership of the practice.

Scott and his wife, Regina, reside in Yorktown Heights and have two sons, Scott and Daniel.  He is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the National Eagle Scout Association. Scott enjoys the Jersey Shore and golf, but his greatest interest is classic cars – he owns a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo!
